    About This Art

    Think of it as Matisse with less reverence and better instincts. A loose, cheerful Amalfi hillside in soft pink, sunny yellow, sea blue and palm green, with a yellow sun sitting over the water.

    Put it up and a quiet room warms up. Pale walls feel less bare, a kitchen feels brighter, a hallway stops being a corridor and starts being a destination.

    Works best on a chalky off-white or soft cream wall, above a console, sideboard or breakfast table, at eye level. Bright north-facing rooms in particular take to it well.

    Pair with pale oak or pine, rattan, linen cushions, terracotta pots, cream stoneware and a touch of brass. It likes good daylight and lamplight in the evening.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    What's your return policy?

    If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

    Will the soft pink and yellow look childish in a grown-up living room?

    No. The pinks here are dusty and chalky rather than candy, and the yellow sits closer to old plaster than primary. Next to oak, linen and stoneware, it reads as warm and grown-up — closer to a holiday villa than a nursery.

    Does the green wave-pattern border dominate the picture?

    It's a clear frame around the artwork rather than a fight for attention. The waves are painted, not graphic, and pick up the palm greens inside. From normal viewing distance it reads as a soft edge holding the scene together.

    Will this work on a coloured or darker wall, or does it need a pale one?

    Pale chalky walls — off-white, cream, soft stone — flatter it most. It can sit on a soft sage or dusty blue wall too. Avoid strong terracotta, mustard or deep red walls; the palette already carries those tones and the piece will start to compete with the room.
