Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It can. The blue here is warm and saturated, so it sits more happily against off-white, warm cream or soft beige walls than against cool blue-grey. On a cool grey wall the print still works but feels more clinical — try a warmer paint nearby, or commit to it as the room's loudest feature.

The larger egret sits left of centre and the smaller one to the lower right, so the eye-line pulls slightly left. It hangs best centred on its wall, but if you're placing it above asymmetric furniture, line the larger bird up with the main object below rather than the geometric centre.

Not necessarily — small rooms can take one bold piece if everything else stays calm. The trick is keeping walls plain, cushions and curtains quiet, and not adding more colourful art nearby. In a small room, treat this as the only thing on its wall.
