Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The stripe is a soft, dusty olive rather than a bright leaf green, so it usually sits well alongside sage or muted green cabinetry. Where it can fight is against a strong emerald or bright grass-green paint — in that case, lean on a calmer wall colour nearby, or pick a different background for the print.

It works solo on a narrow kitchen or pantry wall at a medium size, where the central herb gives the eye something clear to land on. If you want more presence on a wider wall, pair it with two or three other vintage herb or botanical studies in similar muted tones for an apothecary-style set.

It leans farmhouse and English country, but the ink linework is graphic enough to sit in a calmer modern kitchen too, especially with painted shaker cabinets, open timber shelving and stoneware. It will feel out of place in a very glossy, high-contrast minimalist kitchen with no vintage or natural cues.
