    About This Art

Morning is when a kitchen earns this one. East light comes in low across the worktop, and the pale green at the centre picks it up before anything else in the room does. By midday the yellow seeds sit level with a bowl of lemons and the two start talking. Hang it above the counter on a plain white tile splashback, or on the short wall by the breakfast table where the sun lands first. Cream walls suit it. Sage suits it better. Keep the shelf beneath it half empty so the fruit has room, and let a wooden chopping board lean against the wall under it. Nothing red nearby. As a canvas it hangs without glass, so low morning sun never bounces back at you from across the room.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pale green show up on a white kitchen wall?

Yes, because the picture carries its own off-white ground, so the green ring and yellow seeds read as the subject rather than the wall. On a pure brilliant white wall the border will look slightly warmer than the paint, which most people like. On sage or cream walls it blends in more softly and the seeds become the focal point.

What size works in a small kitchen?

Small to medium is the sweet spot. At around 30 to 40cm square it sits comfortably between a worktop and the underside of a wall cupboard, or beside a window without competing with it. Larger sizes suit a dining room wall with space around them, but in a galley kitchen the single fruit starts to loom rather than sit.

Can I hang it next to the hob?

Better not. Steam, grease and heat are hard on any picture over time, so pick a wall at least a metre from the hob, ideally near the fruit bowl or breakfast table. A splashback wall beside the sink is fine if it is out of the direct splash line. Eye level, or a little lower if you mostly see it sitting down.
