Test it this way: if the hallway feels safe, size up. A wall that plays it safe needs one thing with a bit of nerve, and a dog built from a single mess of black pen lines does that job without shouting. Hang it up and the wall gets a focal point with movement in it — you read the dog first, then the loops and scratches that make him. It suits a hallway, a study wall behind a desk, or the gap beside a doorway where nothing else fits. Keep the surroundings plain: white or off-white walls, pale wood, black metal, linen. Skip busy wallpaper and heavy patterned textiles nearby, which fight the linework. As a canvas the edges read softer, so it sits comfortably without glass.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Will it still look like a dog from across the room?
Yes — that is when it works best. Up close you see loops and crossed pen strokes; from a couple of metres back the lines settle into a lean standing dog. Because of that, go larger rather than smaller, and give it clear wall on either side so nothing competes with the outline.
Is this a Weimaraner specifically, or could it pass for another breed?
The build is drawn as a Weimaraner: deep chest, long legs, long muzzle and folded ears. Owners of similar gundogs such as pointers and Vizslas often read it as their own breed too, since the drawing catches the stance and proportions rather than coat colour or markings.
Does black-and-white art like this work in a warm, wood-heavy room?
It does, as long as the wall behind it is fairly plain. Pale oak, warm floorboards and linen soften the sharp black lines nicely. Where it struggles is against strong wall colour or patterned wallpaper, which breaks up the white ground the drawing needs to stand out.
