    Somewhere between William Morris and English country pattern, this cat portrait refuses to behave. The tabby sits dead centre while lilies, seed pods and leaves crowd in from every edge, held together by deep green, cream and warm brown.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is the exhibition text part of the artwork or can it be removed?

    The South Kensington Cotton Prints Exhibition typography is part of the design and stays as printed. It's there to give the piece its museum-poster feel, with the cat and botanicals as the main image and the type running across the top and bottom margins.

    Will the dense botanical background look heavy in a small hallway?

    It reads as pattern rather than clutter because the cat sits clean in the middle and the background tones are muted. In a small hallway it adds depth rather than shrinking the space, as long as the surrounding walls stay relatively plain.

    Does the cat face directly forward or off to one side?

    The tabby looks straight out at the viewer, sitting square and centred. That makes it easy to hang above a console or desk without worrying about eye-line direction — it works on a wall you walk past or sit opposite.
