    About This Art

Somewhere between Raoul Dufy and loose watercolour illustration, this pastel cityscape refuses to behave. Pink, cornflower blue, mustard and coral townhouses lean into each other above a garden of scribbled wildflowers, and the whole row feels a little tipsy in the best way. Put it on a hallway wall and the whole entrance lifts. Above a kitchen dresser, it turns morning coffee into a proper moment. It sits well in kids' rooms and reading corners too. Pair with painted timber, cream linen, rattan and soft pink or duck-egg walls. Skip it if your rooms lean strictly monochrome or heavily masculine industrial — the mood here is warm, sunny and a bit romantic, and it wants company that matches.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft pinks and mustards work in a room with cool grey walls?

It can, but the warmth in this piece — the pink, mustard and coral — reads best against warm off-white, chalky cream or soft pink walls. On cool grey the palette can feel a little marooned. If your walls are cool grey, try pairing it with a warmer cream lampshade or a rattan piece nearby to bridge the temperature.

Is it too busy for a small hallway?

Not at all — hallways actually love this kind of piece because you pass by rather than sit with it. In a narrow hallway, go one size down from what you'd hang in a living room, keep the wall around it clear, and let the piece do the talking. A slim console below it is enough.

Does it read grown-up enough for a main living space?

In cottage, English country or grandmillennial rooms, yes. It sits happily alongside painted timber, linen upholstery and worn brass. In sharper modern or industrial rooms it may feel too romantic — those schemes usually want something more graphic or moody instead.
