    About This Art

What it adds isn't clutter. It's vertical tension in the right places. The pattern scrolls upward through deep green leaves, dark red rosettes and cream blooms, and the wall stops feeling like a blank rectangle.

In a room with a lot of plain paint or quiet textiles, this print does the heavy lifting. The teal ground reads almost like a wall colour itself, so the print sits flush with traditional and country-leaning rooms rather than shouting over them.

Hang it in a hallway, above a writing desk, or in a study where you want richness without going full maximalist. It also works above a low sideboard in a dining room.

Pair with velvet or linen upholstery, oak or walnut furniture, aged leather, brass handles and stoneware ceramics. Old rugs in faded reds and ochres are made for this.

Don't surround it with other busy patterns of the same scale — give it one quiet wall, or let the rest of the room go simple. The canvas gives the foliage a soft, textile-like surface that suits the Morris feel.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark green ground look heavy in a small room?

It reads richer than heavy. The teal-leaning green has enough warmth in the olive and cream tones to feel welcoming rather than oppressive. In a small study or hallway it acts a bit like a painted accent wall — adds depth without making the space feel smaller, especially with one decent lamp nearby.

Is the pattern busy enough to clash with patterned upholstery or rugs?

It can. The print sits at a medium scale with a lot going on, so it's happiest with plain or small-scale companions — linen sofas, simple curtains, a faded rug. If you do mix patterns, keep the others noticeably smaller in scale and in the same earthy family of greens, reds and creams.

Does it work in a more modern room, or is it strictly traditional?

It works in transitional rooms too. Hung against a plain off-white wall with simple oak furniture and a few modern ceramics, the pattern becomes the one decorative moment and stops the room feeling cold. Avoid pairing it with glossy, high-contrast modern pieces — the print prefers natural materials.
