About This Art
This isn't wall filler. It's deep black with a point of view. A bumblebee at rest on a cream peony, set against a near-black ground crowded with botanical detail.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dark background look heavy in a small room?
Not if the wall behind it is light or warm. On a chalky off-white or soft clay wall the near-black ground reads as depth rather than weight, and the cream peony pulls the eye in. In a very small or dim room, keep one soft lamp nearby so the gold tones come forward in the evening.
Is the typography readable from across the room, or is it more decorative?
More decorative than functional. From a metre or so away you can read the headline and the lower lines, but the lettering is part of the composition rather than a sign to read. It gives the piece the feel of a kept exhibition poster — you notice the words, but the bee and peony do the work.
Does it work above a sofa, or is it better as a smaller accent?
It can do either, but it's happiest at medium size above a console, desk or in a hallway where you read it at about 1.5 to 2.5 metres. Above a sofa it works if you size up so the dark ground anchors the seating, and keep cushions in cream, oat or warm brown rather than competing colours.
