    About This Art

Test it this way: if the living room feels safe, size up. This is a William Morris-style exhibition poster with a big coral bloom set against deep blue-grey leaves and a near-black ground.

On the wall, the room shifts warmer. The coral and cream tones pull the eye in, and the dark background gives the surrounding paint colour something to push against. Quiet rooms get a focal point; busy rooms get a little more order.

Hang it eye-level above a sideboard, a console in the hallway, or behind a reading chair. It also earns its place above a bed if the rest of the room stays calm.

Pair with oak or walnut timber, linen in oat or clay, velvet in deep green or rust, and warm brass hardware. Off-white or stone walls let the dark background read properly.

Avoid stacking it next to another loud floral or a second dark-ground poster — give it space to be the loudest thing on the wall. Stretched canvas arrives ready to hang straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark background feel too heavy in a small room?

Not usually. The cream border and warm coral bloom break up the dark ground, so the print reads as a focal point rather than a heavy block. In smaller rooms, hang it on the wall opposite the window so daylight catches the lighter tones, and keep the surrounding paint colour soft.

Does the 'LONDON' and 'TEXTILES' typography read clearly at smaller sizes?

At small and medium sizes the type is legible but quiet — it sits as part of the design rather than shouting. If you want the exhibition-poster feel to read across the room, size up to large; the type then becomes part of the composition rather than a detail you have to step close to see.

Does it work in a room that isn't traditional or English country?

Yes. It also slots into organic modern and bohemian rooms, anywhere with warm timber, linen and a bit of texture. Avoid pairing it with hard mid-century geometry or glossy minimal surfaces — the pattern and depth need a softer setting to feel at home.
