How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep greens and dark background make a small room feel heavier?
It will add visual weight, yes — but most small rooms benefit from one warm, anchored piece rather than several light ones. Hang it on the wall opposite the window so daylight lifts the greens, keep the surrounding walls plainer, and use a warm lamp nearby. It pulls the room together rather than shrinking it.
Does the cat read clearly at smaller sizes?
The cat's face and stripes hold up well down to medium sizes, but the surrounding garden detail — the leaves, poppies and marigold — softens. If you want the full painted-garden effect with all the foliage detail, go large. If the cat is the only thing you care about reading clearly, medium is fine.
Will it clash with patterned wallpaper or florals already in the room?
Probably, if the wallpaper is busy or floral itself. The print is dense enough to count as the pattern in the room. It works best on a plain painted wall — sage, clay, warm cream or off-white — so the garden inside the frame can do its job without competing with the wall behind it.
