    How do I frame an art print?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the near-black background look too heavy in a small room?

    It's denser than a pale print, but the cream foliage and four cats break it up so it reads as pattern rather than a flat dark block. In a small room, give it one warm lamp nearby and a bit of breathing space on the wall — it'll feel like a tapestry, not a hole.

    Is the detail still legible at a smaller print size?

    The four cats stay readable down to about A3, but the smaller seed pods and leaves start to blur together. If you want to enjoy the fine line work up close — the patterned coats, the small flowers — go for medium or larger.

    Does it work in a room that isn't already dark and traditional?

    Yes, as long as something nearby echoes it — a deep green cushion, an oak frame, an aged leather chair, a kilim. In a fully white, modern room it can feel like it's landed from another house, so give it one or two warm anchors.
