    About This Art

Open the curtains at mid-morning; the soft pink will handle the drama. Tall foxglove spires in pink, cream and pale yellow stand against a deep teal-green ground, with the small 'William Morris' caption holding the bottom of the frame.

The room shifts the moment it goes up. A flat painted wall reads less flat, and tired corners feel intentional again. The piece behaves like a small garden indoors — busy enough to look at, calm enough to live with.

It belongs above a low chest of drawers, a console in a hallway, or behind a reading chair. Hang the centre roughly 15–20cm above the furniture so the spires read at a comfortable distance.

Pairs well with linen, oak, brass and softer painted walls in chalky off-white, sage or warm stone. A patterned rug or a velvet cushion in a related pink picks it up nicely.

Don't bury it behind another heavy floral on the same wall — this one prefers to lead. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang straight out of the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the deep green background going to read too dark in a small room?

The green sits behind the flowers rather than dominating, and the off-white border gives the eye somewhere to rest. In small rooms it actually adds depth rather than weight, especially against chalky off-white or sage walls. If your room is very low-light, a medium size with an oak frame keeps it feeling lifted.

Will the small 'William Morris' caption at the bottom be readable on a smaller size?

The caption is a clear handwritten script and reads cleanly on a medium print viewed from normal hanging distance. On a small size it becomes more of a quiet detail than a focal element, which most buyers actually prefer. It never competes with the foxgloves themselves.

Does this work in a modern room or only in cottage and country interiors?

It leans country, but it works in modern rooms too if the surroundings stay calm — plain painted walls, oak or walnut furniture, simple linen. The painterly brushwork keeps it from feeling stiff or chintzy, so it sits happily alongside more transitional pieces.
