    About This Art

With botanical study, scale decides whether the bedroom wakes up. Go bigger than feels safe — those teal lily pads need room to fan out, the pink lotus needs room to bloom, and the gilded line work needs distance to read as the heritage detail it is.

The room shifts from decorated to considered. Walls stop being backdrop and start carrying weight, the way a Morris drawing room earned its hush. Evening light finds the ochre buds and the chalky pinks before it settles on anything else.

Hang it above the headboard, or alone on a chalky off-white wall opposite the bed where you'll catch it first thing. Pair with washed linen, aged brass, a clay lamp base — materials that already know about patina. Skip the high-contrast modern accents; this piece wants softness around it.

Stretched over a wooden frame so the dusty teals sit flush to the wall, no glare, no border.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dusty teal and ochre read muddy against a cool grey wall?

Honestly, yes — this palette is built for warm chalky neutrals (plaster pink, putty, soft greens, off-whites with a yellow undertone). Cool greys and brilliant whites flatten the teal and dull the ochre line work. If your walls run cool, hang it where there's warm timber or brass nearby to bridge the temperature, or rethink against a different piece.

Is the lotus the clear focal point, or does the eye get lost in the leaves?

The white-and-pink lotus on the left sits roughly on the upper third and reads as the anchor — that's where the eye lands first. The teal lily pads frame and recede, the smaller pink bloom and ochre seed heads carry secondary weight. At a generous scale it composes cleanly; at small sizes the leaf pattern starts to compete.

Will this work above a low headboard, or does it need a tall wall?

A standard headboard wall is ideal — portrait orientation gives you vertical presence without needing a double-height ceiling. Aim for the bottom edge sitting roughly a hand's width above the headboard, and size up rather than down. Anything below A2 above a king bed will look stranded.
