In 1890, this would have felt radical. It still does. A dense forest-floor scene of red and mustard toadstools rising out of layered ferns, set inside a vintage exhibition poster.
Hang it and the room shifts a few degrees darker and a touch more curious. The deep green background pulls a space into focus and gives the walls some weight, while the warm reds and mustards keep it from feeling cold.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the dark background look too heavy in a small room?
It can, if the walls are bright white and the lighting is cool and overhead. On a warmer wall — sage, cream limewash, dusty plaster — with a lamp rather than downlights, the dark green actually makes a small room feel cocooning rather than closed in. Hallways and snugs handle it especially well.
