It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It's a proper deep indigo — closer to navy than mid blue, with a slight greenish undertone from the original dye. It reads dark against pale walls and softer against sage or warm cream walls. The coral birds and pink florals lift cleanly off it, which is why the pattern works even in low light.

Only if you push it. In a small room, choose a medium size, give it one plain wall, and keep the rest of the room calm — solid upholstery, no other patterns. Studies and snugs actually suit it well because the cocooning effect adds to the room's character rather than fighting it.

This reproduction shows the full symmetrical repeat — two rows of thrushes facing each other across the strawberries and central tulip, exactly as Morris designed it in 1883. Nothing is cropped through a bird or flower, so the composition reads balanced from across the room.
