All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Not if you lean into the empty space. Sumi-e is built on negative space, so a medium square on a big wall reads as considered rather than lost. Give it a wide clear margin on every side, hang at eye level, and resist the urge to fill the wall around it. A small side lamp or a low piece of furniture below anchors it nicely.

It's a quiet accent, not a colour statement. The seal is small and sits low in the composition, so it warms the piece without pulling the room towards red. If your scheme is strictly cool neutrals or icy blues, the seal still reads as a soft grounding detail rather than a clash.

It can, but it isn't a playful cartoon frog — the mood is calm and grown-up. It works best in a nursery or child's room where the palette is already soft and neutral and the parents want art that will still feel right in ten years. For a brighter, more playful children's space, look for something with stronger colour.
