Vibrant colours, crisp detail and sturdy framing stand out, with the prints adding character to walls and suiting smaller spaces.

Klimt Inspired Print

The colors are vibrant and the quality of the print is excellent. The paper it is printed on is very good quality, too. Will definitely buy more prints from you, I've very impressed with overall.

I Googled the Colors I Wanted and Found my Perfect Print

I just moved from a three-bedroom, two story house to a two bedroom ground floor apartment. This is the start of my new life and I want new things in my new place. I stumbled across Fab by Googling, "Print, gold, teal, brown" and they popped up. I found the perfect picture in the perfect orientation with the perfect frame. My anal-retentive brother came over and hung it for me--Perfectly level! It looks perfect. I'm already eyeballing another print for my bedroom that has yet to be decorated. I'll definitely buy from them again.

Buying a Klimt forest print

Short answers on framing choices, picking a size, where these woodland scenes hang best and returns

Which Klimt forest print works best for a living room with a blank wall above the sofa?

For the wall above a standard sofa, we'd go with Beech Forest I in a 70x100cm framed print. It's one of Klimt's most immersive woodland compositions, with that incredible tapestry of greens, golds, and russet tones that fills the frame edge to edge. The lack of a traditional horizon line means it reads almost like an abstract from across the room but rewards you with extraordinary detail up close. Our museum-grade giclée printing captures the layered, mosaic-like texture of the original beautifully, and the solid wood frame arrives ready to hang, so you're not messing around with separate framing.

Do Klimt forest prints look as rich in person as they do on screen?

They genuinely look better. Klimt's forest paintings are built from hundreds of tiny, almost pointillist marks of colour, and our giclée printing on thick matte paper captures that depth in a way screens simply can't. You get no glare from the UV-protective acrylic glaze, so the subtle golds, ochres, and mossy greens hold their richness even in bright rooms. Thousands of our shoppers have said exactly this. If you've been burned by flimsy prints from elsewhere that arrive with bubbling paper or warped frames, you'll notice the difference immediately: ours ship fully fitted and ready to hang in one box.

Are Klimt tree paintings a good gift for someone who loves nature art?

They're one of the best gifts in this category, honestly. Klimt's name carries instant recognition, but his forest and tree paintings feel more personal and unexpected than the usual Kiss or Portrait of Adele. A framed Klimt birch trees print or a Beech Grove composition is the kind of gift that makes someone feel understood. We'd suggest a 50x70cm framed print as the sweet spot for a gift: substantial enough to be a statement, easy to place in most rooms, and it arrives ready to hang with no extra framing needed. Our 99-day returns policy means they can exchange if they'd prefer a different size.

Why did Klimt paint so many forests and trees?

Klimt spent his summers at Lake Attersee in the Austrian countryside, and the surrounding beech and birch forests became a kind of creative retreat from the controversy that followed his figurative work in Vienna. His forest paintings, which he produced over roughly a decade, were deeply meditative and almost obsessively detailed. They gave him space to experiment with colour, pattern, and a flattened perspective borrowed from Japanese woodcuts. That's why these Gustav Klimt tree paintings feel so different from his portraits: they're quieter, more absorbed, and surprisingly modern.

Who is considered the most famous nature painter, and how does Klimt compare?

Monet usually gets that crown, and fairly so, but Klimt's nature work is doing something completely different. Where Monet dissolves a scene into light and atmosphere, Klimt builds his forests from dense, decorative patterns that sit somewhere between landscape and abstraction. If your walls already lean warm, textured, or eclectic rather than airy and impressionistic, a Klimt forest landscape print will feel much more at home. They pair especially well with rich textiles, warm wood tones, and rooms that have a collected, layered feel rather than a minimal one.
