How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this feel too busy on a patterned wall or wallpaper?

Yes, it would. The print already does a lot of the work — peonies, leaves, a full-figure monkey on a flowering branch. Hang it on a plain painted wall in deep green, clay, off-white or chalky pink, and let it be the pattern in the room rather than competing with wallpaper.

Does the red read more brick or more crimson?

It sits between the two — a deep, slightly warm red that leans more towards old fabric or lacquer than a clean modern crimson. It works alongside terracotta, oxblood, and warm browns, and holds its own against deep greens. It won't fight cream, oat or warm off-white walls.

Is the monkey the only one in the frame, or part of a larger scene?

One monkey only, sitting on the branch in the upper-left portion of the composition, with peonies and leaves filling the rest. The eye lands on the monkey first, then travels down the branch through the flowers, so vertical hanging space matters more than width.
