How do I frame an art print?

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dark foreground look heavy in a small or low-lit room?

It can — the bottom third is genuinely dark. In a small or low-lit space, hang it a little lower than usual so the misty top half does more work at eye-level, and keep the wall around it clear. A warm lamp or picture light nearby stops the foreground reading as a black block.

Does this piece have an obvious horizon line, or does it blur?

It blurs. The transition from pale sky to dark ground happens through a soft, scumbled middle band rather than a hard line, so the print reads more like weather than a specific view. That's why it sits well in rooms where you want depth without a strong focal subject.

Is the palette truly neutral, or are there warm undertones?

Warm undertones, clearly. The greys lean slightly brown rather than blue, and the foreground is warm earth — think bark and damp soil rather than slate. It will sit happily next to oak, leather and linen, but may feel slightly off against cool blue-greys or icy whites.
