How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Do the figures in the print read clearly at a normal viewing distance?

Yes — the figures are stylised but distinct, each in a different colour top, so they stay readable from across a normal living room. At very small sizes the smaller swimmers can flatten slightly, so a medium size or larger is the safer choice if you want every figure to register.

Will the soft blue and cream feel too washed out on a white wall?

On a stark cool white it can soften more than expected. On a warm white, chalky off-white or pale plaster wall the blue holds its own and the cream blends into the wall in a flattering way. If your wall is very bright white, an oak or warm-toned frame helps anchor it.

Is this suitable for a child's room or family bathroom?

Yes. The folk style and pool scene read as friendly without being babyish, so it works in older children's rooms, family bathrooms and playrooms as easily as in a grown-up living room or hallway.
