How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the bright green sofa fight with a green sofa I already own?

Usually no — the green in the print is a saturated sap green with warm undertones, so it sits happily next to most velvet greens and bottle greens. If your sofa is a cool blue-green, hang the print on an opposite or adjacent wall rather than directly above it so the two greens don't compete head-on.

Is the cat the main focus, or does the room around it carry equal weight?

The cat is the clear focal point — centred, lit, looking straight out — but the green sofa, pink wall and cocktail glass do a lot of supporting work. Read from across the room it's a cat portrait. Read up close it's more of an interior scene. That balance is why it holds a wall on its own.

Does it work in a room that isn't pink?

Yes. The warm pink in the background is more like a soft terracotta than a true pink, so it sits well against off-white, warm beige, deep red, olive or warm grey walls. It's a harder sell against cold blue-grey or stark white — the print wants a warm room around it.
