About This Art

Because the artist knew restraint, the soft pink wall hits harder here. Most of the painting is quiet cream and warm stone — and that's what lets the clear blue sky and the small domed church sing. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the colour mostly soft or does the blue sky read bright?

Most of the print is quiet cream, warm stone and soft pink, so it reads calm overall. The sky is a clear, clean blue but it sits in a small top portion of the image, so it lifts the piece rather than dominating the room.

Does the staircase pull the eye up or to one side?

Straight up. The steps climb from the bottom edge toward the small domed church near the top centre, so the composition has a strong vertical lift. That makes it a natural fit for tall narrow walls — stairwells, hallway end walls, or above a bed.

Will it look too holiday-themed in a normal British home?

It shouldn't. The palette is gentle and the brushwork is loose rather than postcard-literal, so it reads more as a sunlit painting than a travel souvenir. Style it with linen, oak and a single terracotta pot and it sits comfortably alongside everyday furniture.
