How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the gaze direct enough to feel confrontational in a small room?

Yes — the stare is straight to camera and steady, so in a tight space it will feel like another person in the room. That's brilliant in a study, a snug or a hallway you walk past. Less ideal directly over a bed or a sofa you sit on facing the wall.

How dominant is the red in the picture?

Less than you'd think. The deep red sits at the neckerchief and the single playing card — two small accents. The rest of the image is warm browns, mustard and rust, so the overall reading from a few steps back is warm earth, not red.

Will it work against cool grey or bright white walls?

Not its strongest setting. The picture is built on warm browns and rust, so it sings against warm plaster, exposed brick, oak panelling or soft clay-toned walls. On a cool grey wall it can look stranded; on bright white it loses some of its warmth.
