How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright orange and coral overpower a quiet, neutral room?
It will definitely add warmth and pull the eye — that's the point. In a fully neutral room it becomes the focal point, which works well above a sideboard or sofa. If your scheme is strictly cool grey and white, the warmth may feel like a clash rather than a lift.
Does the artwork show the Alhambra clearly, or is it more of a loose impression?
Both. The terracotta towers, cypresses and garden steps are clearly recognisable as the Alhambra, but the brushwork is loose and painterly rather than photographic. Anyone who has visited will spot it straight away; it doesn't read as a generic Mediterranean scene.
Is this better in a hallway or above a sofa?
Either works. In a hallway the portrait shape suits a narrow wall and adds colour to a usually under-decorated space. Above a sofa it acts as a single anchor — go for the large size so the cypresses and towers read properly from across the room.
