All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It can, if the walls are bright white. The print sits much better against deeper painted walls — inky blue, forest green, warm clay or a soft taupe — where the near-black background reads as intentional rather than a hole on the wall. Warm lamplight also helps it feel grounded rather than gloomy.

Yes. It suits hallways, characterful living rooms and behind a reading chair anywhere with warm lighting. It is less at home in airy coastal bedrooms or bright minimalist kitchens, where the heavy background and detailed figurative subject can feel out of step with the rest of the room.

The pair of owls and the branch read clearly at medium sizes, but the river valley, fine feather markings and the small annotations along the top edge of the plate come through best at large. If you want the full natural-history character, size up; if you want it as part of a cluster, medium is fine.
