About This Art
We like crocodiles best when they come with a little abrasion. These two are friendly but not soppy — a deep green one prowling under a small moon, a navy one grinning back, both ringed by leaves, stars and tiny flowers in a folk-style border.
It warms up a nursery wall without going saccharine. The cream background keeps everything calm, while the dark green, navy and mustard give a child's room actual character rather than pastel wallpaper energy.

How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the navy crocodile look too dark in a small nursery?
No — the cream background takes up almost half the picture, so the navy reads as a friendly shadow rather than a heavy block. In a small nursery, hang it on a lighter wall and keep the surrounding shelves uncluttered, and the print stays warm rather than weighty.
Is it better above a cot or a low bookcase?
Both work. Above a cot, centre it and hang at standing adult eye-level so you see it while holding a baby. Above a low bookcase or changing table, drop it to child eye-level. The portrait shape suits narrower walls between a window and a corner.
Will it still suit the room when the child outgrows the nursery stage?
Yes. The folk style and earthy palette aren't baby-coded — once the cot goes, it sits happily above a kids' desk, single bed or playroom shelf. The deep green and navy carry through to older children's rooms without looking like leftover nursery décor.
