Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can. If your sofa, rug or curtains already lean deep red, terracotta or rust, the coral crab will fight for attention rather than lift the room. This print works hardest in soft grey, cream, sand and pale wood schemes where that one warm note is the main shot of colour.

A medium size works well in a hallway above a narrow console, hung at eye level. The landscape format suits wider, lower walls and reads clearly from a metre or two away. For a long blank run of wall, size up; for a tight nook, keep it medium and leave breathing room either side.

Yes, but keep the group quiet. Two or three other vintage natural history plates in the same soft grey, cream and sand register sit beautifully alongside. Avoid mixing in bold modern bird graphics or busy florals — they pull against the calm, illustrative feel of the Audubon plate.
