    About This Art

In the 1960s, this would have felt radical. It still does. A flat, paper cut-out desert in sky blue, coral pink, sand yellow and deep green — no shading, no fuss, just bold blocks of colour.

A wall that was looking a bit polite suddenly has personality. The coral ground warms the room up, the blue sky cools it down, and the cactus shapes give the eye something confident to land on.

Hang it where light moves through the day — above a sideboard, in a sunny hallway, or in a bright living room corner. It holds a wall on its own and doesn't need anything next to it to make sense.

Works happily with rattan, oak, terracotta tile, linen and woven jute. Brass fittings and stoneware in warm earthy tones lift it nicely.

Don't drown it in tiny botanical prints — the flat shapes want a bit of breathing room.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright blue and coral clash with a warm-toned room?

Less than you'd think. The sky blue is soft rather than electric, and the coral is warm and earthy rather than candy-pink. It sits comfortably alongside terracotta tile, oak, rattan and warm whites. If your room is already heavy on cool greys, the print will warm it up rather than fight it.

Does this work in a small room or only large open spaces?

It works in both, but it needs to be the focal point. In a small room, give it a wall of its own and keep nearby surfaces fairly clear. In a larger room, hang it above a sideboard or sofa where the flat colour blocks can read from across the space.

Is the style more retro mid-century or modern southwestern?

Both, really. The flat paper cut-out shapes have a 1960s poster feel, while the desert subject and palette nudge it towards modern southwestern. It works well in mid-century modern, organic modern and bohemian rooms without locking you into one specific look.
