    About This Art

When the hallway feels over-arranged, this kind of dog sketch helps. It is one dog, drawn in a mess of black scribbled line on plain white, and it stops a tidy wall from feeling stiff. The room gets a bit of humour without gaining any new colour, so nothing else has to shift. Hang it at eye level on a narrow stretch of wall, above a bench in an entryway, or on a home office wall where you look up from a desk. Pair it with plain painted walls, pale wood, black metal and simple ceramics. Don't crowd it with heavy pattern or busy photo frames either side — the scribble needs white space around it to read as a dog. On premium fine-art paper, the fine line work stays crisp and the white ground stays clean.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Can you tell it's a corgi, or does it just look like scribble?

From a step or two back the shape is clearly a corgi — the big ears, long body, short legs and low chest all read straight away. Close up you see the loops and tangles that build it. That's the point of the drawing, and it's why it needs plain wall around it rather than being boxed in by other pictures.

Will it look right in a room with colour on the walls?

It works best on white, off-white or pale grey, where the black line stays sharp. On mid or dark paint the white background becomes a bright block and reads as a panel rather than a drawing. If your walls are deep in colour, go larger and keep the surrounding wall clear so the white ground looks intentional.

Is it suitable for a child's room, or is it too grown-up?

It suits a kids' room well. The dog is friendly and funny rather than fussy, and there is no colour to fight with bedding or toys. Hang it lower than usual so it sits at a child's eye level, and give it a decent size — small versions get lost against busy shelves and soft toys.
