How do I frame an art print?

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the print show the city around the castle, or just the castle alone?
The castle is the main focus on its rock, but you can see autumn trees in the foreground and a soft city skyline fading off to the right. It reads clearly as Edinburgh, not a generic castle on a hill, so anyone with a connection to the place will recognise it straight away.
Will the soft pink sky feel too warm in a room with cool grey walls?
It can fight with cool grey-blue walls a bit, since the whole print leans warm — pink sky, orange trees, brown stone. It sits much better against warm off-white, cream, clay-pink or soft beige walls, or even a deeper warm tone like dusty terracotta if you want contrast.
Is this better hung on its own or as part of a travel-poster set?
Both work. On its own above a console or desk, it has enough going on to hold the wall. In a set, pair it with two or three other travel posters in similar warm illustrative styles — avoid mixing it with photography or cool-toned prints, which will make it look out of place.
