Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

No. The background is a warm aged gold with brown patches and worn edges, closer to old leather or tarnished brass than a flat yellow. In daylight it reads as a soft warm brown; under lamps it picks up more glow. It sits well next to oak, walnut and warm whites rather than fighting them.

The piece reads warm and uplifting overall, with the dark wing tips acting as anchors rather than weight. The cream body of the crane keeps things airy, while the deep black feathers give the eye somewhere to land. It works in calm rooms without dragging them darker.

At small sizes the cranes still read clearly, but the wave pattern along the bottom and the plum blossom branch in the corner start to soften. For a hallway or above a console, a large size keeps those details legible. For a small accent wall, the crane alone still carries the print.
