• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

No. The background of the painting is already a warm cream, so it settles onto oat, beige and chalky off-white walls without fighting them. The pink reads soft rather than sugary because it sits next to dark green leaves and grey-blue feathers. On a cool grey wall the pink will look brighter, which some people like.

It can work, but keep the cushions plainer. The painting already carries two checked panels, several flowers and a big bird, so it does the pattern work on its own. Plain linen, cord or bouclé cushions in cream, olive or rust let it lead. If your cushions are floral or checked, hang this somewhere with a calmer sofa.

Larger than you think. The heron is painted almost life-scale in feel, and shrinking it flattens the brushwork and loses the small checked squares. A large or statement size above a sideboard, bed or in a stairwell keeps the head, beak and legs readable from across the room. Small sizes suit narrow hallway walls only.
