    About This Art

Before anyone mentions impressionist painting, notice what the turquoise does to linen. Pale sofas, curtains and cushions pick up the blue and look cooler and cleaner than they did. What changes is the depth of the wall itself: the layered limestone islands pull the eye back, so a short room reads longer. Hang it at eye level on a plain light wall, or above a low sideboard where the vertical run of sky and water has room to breathe. Pair it with pale wood, rattan, woven rugs and simple cream ceramics. Don't crowd it with other blue seascapes or busy patterned wallpaper — the brushwork is doing enough already. On fine-art paper the small dabs of paint stay crisp and visible.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the turquoise look too bright in a small room?

It reads brighter than a photograph but it isn't neon. The blues are broken up by deep green foliage and warm cream cliffs, so the overall effect is fresh rather than loud. In a small room, hang it on the plainest wall and keep surrounding colours pale so the blue has space to work.

Does it need to be big to work?

It benefits from size. The composition layers several rows of islands into the distance, plus a small boat on the water. At larger sizes those layers stay clear and the piece behaves like a window. At small sizes the far islands blur together and you lose the depth that makes it interesting.

Can I hang it in a bedroom or is it too active?

It works in a bedroom as long as it's the only busy thing on the wall. The water and sky are calm, and the movement sits mainly in the foreground blossom. Centred above the headboard on a plain wall, it settles quickly and reads as a view rather than a distraction.
