    About This Art

Hang it above the dining table. Not the sofa, not the hall. Harvest pictures want to sit where people eat, and the golden field in this one does its best work over a long table at seven in the evening once the lamps come on. Scrubbed pine picks up the wheat. A white painted table picks up the barn instead, and the room reads cooler for it. Centre it on the table rather than the wall, hung low enough that the soft pink sky sits just above a seated head. Keep the runner plain, undyed linen or warm brown. Anything orange on the table fights the pumpkins for attention. Give the wall a warm off-white and let the painting supply the season. On fine-art paper the pink in the sky stays soft, and a brown wood frame finishes the farmhouse look.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the orange in this picture clash with a terracotta kitchen?

It depends how much terracotta you already have. On a floor or a few tiles it works, because the golden field and the pumpkins pick up the same warmth and the pink sky cools it down. Against a whole terracotta wall the orange doubles up and the picture loses its glow. Hang it on a cream or off-white wall instead and let the tiles do the rest.

How big should I go above a dining table?

Aim for roughly two thirds of the table length. Over a 180cm table that means about 100 to 120cm wide, hung so the bottom edge sits a hand's width above a seated head. Any smaller and the barn becomes a small shape in the middle with a lot of wall around it. The loose brushwork wants room to read from across the table.

Does it look too seasonal to keep up all year?

The pumpkins are a small part of the picture, low in the foreground, and from across a room the golden field and sunset sky are what you notice. It reads as a warm country evening rather than a Halloween scene. In summer it sits happily over a table with pale linen, and in October it comes into its own without any extra decoration.
