How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the red tram the only strong colour, or are there other bright accents?
The red tram does almost all the colour work. Everything else is soft — sky blue, cream and warm sand-coloured buildings, with a pale church tower on the horizon. That makes it easy to place in a mostly neutral room without other accents fighting it.
Does it say 'Lisbon Portugal' on the print, and how big is the text?
Yes — 'LISBON' is set across the lower band in a clean modern typeface, with 'PORTUGAL' smaller beneath it. The text reads clearly from across a room but isn't shouty. If you'd rather it without text, this isn't the right version.
Will it work in a narrow hallway, or does it need a bigger wall?
It's a portrait shape with a single strong focal point, so it suits narrow walls and hallways well. A medium size above a console is the sweet spot. Going too small loses the cityscape detail; going statement-size only really works in a wide entryway or a stair landing.
