    About This Art

Nothing in this turquoise and terracotta cityscape whispers, even when the living room does. The Riviera does the talking — clay rooftops stacked above a calm sea, palms cutting across a pale bell tower.

The room gets warmer and a little more well-travelled. The turquoise pulls the eye to the horizon, and the orange catches anything brass or timber nearby. It reads as holiday memory rather than tourist tat.

Hang it above a console in the hallway, over a sideboard in the dining room, or beside a reading chair where the colour has room to breathe.

Pair it with pale oak, rattan, linen, and a few terracotta pots. Off-white walls let the colour sing. A second travel print in the same palette holds up well alongside it.

Don't bury it on a busy gallery wall of competing colours, and don't mute it behind heavy curtains — it wants daylight and a clear wall. Choose unframed, or framed in real wood with premium acrylic glazing and sealed backing.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the poster include the Monaco-Ville script under the title?

Yes. 'MONACO' sits across the top in a tall sans-serif, with 'Monaco-Ville' beneath it in a small handwritten script. Both sit against the turquoise sky, so the lettering reads as part of the design rather than a heavy overlay. If you'd rather no text, this isn't the print for you.

Will the bright turquoise overwhelm a small room?

Less than you'd expect. The turquoise is the sky and sea, but the cream buildings and terracotta rooftops carry most of the visible area, so the overall feel is warm rather than cold. In a small room, hang it as the only piece of art on that wall and keep nearby colours muted.

Is the composition centred or weighted to one side?

It's weighted to the left — the bell tower and stacked buildings climb up the left side, with the sea opening out to the right. That means it reads best with space to its right, or with something low (a lamp, a plant) on the right side of the furniture below it to balance the eye.
