Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It usually plays nicely. The pink in the print is chalky and slightly dusty rather than candy, so it sits well next to terracotta, warm cream, oat and rust rugs. Where it can clash is with cool fuchsia or bright coral — if your rug leans cool-pink, hang the print on a wall that gives it some distance from the floor.

It reads as Amsterdam. The stepped and bell-shaped gables, narrow tall houses leaning together, and the canal-side bicycles parked along railings are all classic Amsterdam canal-belt cues. There's no signage or landmark naming a specific street, so it works as a general love-letter to the city rather than a specific address.

Not really, as long as you give it a calm wall. The composition is busy but the colours are grouped in clean vertical blocks, so the eye reads it as a row of shapes first and detail second. In a small room, hang it solo on a plain wall rather than competing with patterned wallpaper or other artwork.
