    About This Art

Most grey sofas are waiting for colour and never get it. Hang this above one and the pink in the clouds does the job the cushions have been failing at. Grey linen goes softer and warmer next to it. Mauve in the sky ties back to the grey, so the pairing looks planned rather than lucky. Give it the full wall above the sofa, around a metre square, hung so the bottom edge sits a hand above the back cushions. Keep the wall itself off-white. A darker wall swallows the olive marsh at the bottom and the picture loses its ground. One brass lamp, no patterned throw. The texture is the surprise. Stand close and the clouds are thick paint, stand back and they are weather. On fine-art paper the ridges of paint print sharply, so hang it where you can get close.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink look too sweet in a grown-up living room?

Not with this one. The pink sits next to mauve, grey and a wide band of olive and brown marsh, so it reads as evening light rather than a colour choice. Against grey linen or a warm off-white wall it comes across as warm, not girly. The risk only appears if you add more pink around it, so keep cushions and throws to oat, grey or mauve.

What size should I go for above a sofa?

Aim for roughly two thirds of the sofa width. For a standard three-seater that means 80 to 100cm square. The thick paint marks in the clouds are what make the piece, and they only show at that scale. Smaller than 60cm and the sky turns into a pattern and the creek loses its pull toward the horizon. Hang the bottom edge a hand above the back cushions.

Does it work in a north-facing room?

Yes, and better than most landscapes. Cool north light tends to grey out warm colour, but the pink and butter yellow in the sky are strong enough to hold, and the pale blue already sits in the cool range so it looks natural. Put it on the wall that faces the window rather than beside it, and the whole room picks up a little of the sunset warmth.
