    About This Art

Warm rooms need something cool to lean on. Terracotta walls, a tan leather sofa, a lot of oak underfoot, and by evening the whole space runs hot. Hang this above the sofa and the grey green canopy takes the temperature down without turning anything grey. Pale bark keeps a thread of warmth running through it, so it never fights the wood. It works the other way too. In a cool north facing bedroom with off-white walls, the sage lifts the wall rather than deadening it. Width is the point. Go for at least 100cm across so the branches stretch past the sofa arms or the headboard edges. Keep the wall plain and the cushions in oat or clay. On fine-art paper the pale washes stay soft and the deep green holds its depth.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the greens work with a grey sofa?

Yes, with one condition. The leaves here are grey green rather than bright green, so against a mid grey sofa they read as a cousin of the same colour and the wall goes quiet. Add one warm thing in the room, a tan cushion or a pale wood table, and the bark in the picture finds a partner. Against a very dark charcoal sofa it looks lighter and airier than you expect.

How wide should I go above a king size bed?

Aim for roughly two thirds of the headboard width, which on a 180cm bed means around 120cm across. At that size the branches spread past the pillows and the piece anchors the wall rather than floating on it. Sit the bottom edge about 20cm above the headboard. Going narrower than 90cm on a king leaves too much bare wall either side and the canopy starts to look like a window.

Does it feel dark in a small bedroom?

The sky behind the leaves is pale cream, and that pale area takes up about a quarter of the picture, so it stays lighter than most tree pictures. In a small room with off-white walls it reads as a soft green haze rather than a dark block. Keep bedding in oat or white and avoid a second green in the room. The deeper shadow tones then act like depth rather than weight.
