All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can. The print leans warm — soft pinks, terracotta and cream sit against a cooler blue river. Against a cool grey sofa it'll feel slightly at odds unless you bridge with a warm cushion or throw in terracotta, mustard or rust. In a warm white or pale oak room it settles in straight away.

It reads as Porto specifically. The stacked pastel townhouses, terracotta roofs, twin church towers on the hill and the dark rabelo boats on the Douro are all clear Porto cues. Anyone who has been will spot it; anyone who hasn't will still read it as Portugal rather than a generic Mediterranean village.

It holds a wall on its own at medium size, especially above a console or sideboard. If you want to pair it, keep the partner quiet — a loose botanical, a soft abstract, or another watercolour travel sketch in the same palette. Avoid pairing with a sharp graphic poster; the styles will fight.
