    About This Art

Before anyone mentions the travel-poster style, notice what the soft yellow does to plaster walls. The room warms up by a couple of degrees without changing a single light bulb.

What shifts is the mood. A quiet hallway or kitchen suddenly has somewhere to look, and the rest of the room reads as deliberate rather than empty. The deep green hillside grounds the pastels so it never tips into sugary.

Hang it where you walk past it daily — an entryway, a galley kitchen, a stair landing, or above a console in the living room. Eye-level works, but a touch higher is fine too.

Pair with pale oak, woven rattan, linen cushions, cream stoneware and small terracotta pots. A single olive tree in a corner does the rest.

Don't crowd it with other travel scenes. One landscape per wall.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft yellow clash with cream or off-white walls?

No — the yellow in this print is warm and slightly muted rather than acid, so it reads as a glow against cream and off-white walls rather than a clash. If your walls are cooler greys or stark white, the print will look brighter and more standout, which is usually a good thing in a hallway or kitchen.

Can I tell it's Positano specifically, or is it a generic Italian village?

It's recognisably Positano. The yellow majolica-tiled dome of Santa Maria Assunta sits in the middle of the composition, with the pastel houses stacking up around it and the small beach at the front. Anyone who has visited will spot it; anyone who hasn't will read it as the Amalfi Coast.

Does the busy detail make it hard to live with day to day?

There's a lot to look at, but the composition is calm — warm pastels held down by a deep green hillside and a soft sky. It rewards a second glance rather than shouting. Best on a wall you pass rather than one you stare at while working.
