    About This Art

Start with the sofa. Most living rooms end up with a charcoal or slate grey one, and grey upholstery pulls the warmth out of everything above it. Hang this about 120cm across, a hand above the back cushions, and the wheat gold in the field turns that grey into something closer to warm stone. The soft pink of the pumpkins then picks up any dusty rose or terracotta in the cushions. Keep the wall itself off-white or putty rather than brilliant white, so the barn has something to glow against. A jute rug does more for it than another throw. Autumn is the obvious season, though the sky is gentle enough to stay up all year. One lamp, set low. On fine-art paper the knife marks keep their edge, and a brown wood frame settles it into a farmhouse room.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink pumpkins clash with a grey sofa?

The opposite, in most rooms. A charcoal or slate grey sofa tends to cool the wall above it, and the wheat gold in the field pushes that grey back towards warm stone. The pink is soft rather than sweet, closer to a dusty rose, so it sits happily next to grey linen. Add one cushion in a similar rose and the two start talking to each other.

How big should I go above a king bed?

Match the headboard. A UK king headboard runs about 150cm wide, so a piece at 120 to 150cm across looks planned rather than perched. Leave a hand's width between the headboard top and the bottom edge. Any smaller than 100cm and the barn reads as a postcard from across the room, which wastes the width this format gives you.

Is this only an autumn piece?

It reads as harvest, so it comes into its own from September to November, but the sky does most of the work and that is a soft peach and mauve dusk rather than a fall display. In a room with cream walls and warm wood it holds up all year. If you want to swap seasonally, hang it where a same-width spring landscape can take over.
