    About This Art

By late afternoon, the cityscape stops looking decorative and starts working. The path pulls you in, the autumn trees do the talking, and the room behind it feels brighter without trying. It suits a hallway you walk through every day, a kitchen that needs a hit of colour, or a living-room wall that has been quietly neutral for too long. Hang it at eye level on a pale wall — off-white, soft grey, warm cream — and let it be the loudest thing in the room. Pair it with pale woods, linen, simple ceramics and houseplants. Keep other patterns small and quiet. Don't crowd it with more travel posters or saturated abstracts; this one wants the floor to itself. Printed on premium fine-art paper for clean colour and crisp edges.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the 'Gardens of the World' and 'Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver' lettering part of the print?

Yes. The series title at the top and the park name with 'Vancouver' at the bottom are part of the artwork itself, designed as a travel poster. They print as a single image and aren't added on later or removable.

Will it look too loud in a small room?

It is genuinely bright, so in a small room you'll feel it. That's usually the point in a hallway or galley kitchen, where one strong piece lifts the whole space. If you want art that recedes, this isn't it — pick something quieter.

Does it work better in portrait orientation above a console or as a kitchen piece?

Both work. Above a console or hallway table the portrait shape pulls the eye up and reads as a travel-poster moment. In a kitchen, hang it on a clean wall away from busy tiling so the colour and lettering have room to breathe.
