    About This Art

Yes, a scribble knew how to charm a room — and how to cut. The lines are loose and messy up close, but from a few steps back a Weimaraner stands there clear as day, alert and mid-pause. Hung on a plain wall it does two jobs at once: it warms the room with a dog, and it keeps things graphic and sharp. It suits a hallway, a study above a desk, or a bedroom wall where you want one clean focal point. Pair it with pale wood, black metal, linen and simple white ceramics. Don't crowd it with busy pattern or heavy gold detail — the white space around the drawing is doing half the work. On fine-art paper the pen lines stay crisp and the white sits flat and quiet.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does it still read as a Weimaraner, or just a tangle of lines?

From a couple of steps back the shape is clearly a Weimaraner: the long muzzle, folded ears, deep chest and high tucked waist all come through. Close up the lines break into loose scribbles, which is part of the appeal. If your wall is viewed from very close range only, go a size up so the outline resolves properly.

Will it work in a room that already has a lot of colour?

Yes, and that's one of its strengths. Black lines on white don't compete with the colours you already have, so it can sit near a strong sofa, patterned rug or painted wall without clashing. The one thing it needs is a fairly plain wall behind it, so the white ground stays clean rather than fighting wallpaper.

Should I hang it on its own or with other prints?

Both work. Solo, it makes a clear focal point on a narrow hallway or study wall, and the tall white margins do the framing for you. In a group, keep it as the largest piece in the middle and surround it with other simple line drawings or monochrome sketches, leaving even gaps of around 5 to 8cm.
