It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes, at medium size and above. The ears, muzzle and feathered legs carry the breed, and the looping lines resolve into a clear seated dog once you step back a metre or two. Very small sizes are where it struggles, because the densest scribbles start to blend into a grey mass rather than a shape.

A plain painted wall is much safer. The drawing relies on open white space between the lines, so patterned wallpaper competes with it and the dog's outline gets lost. If your wall is papered, keep the pattern very faint and small, or hang it in a mount with a wide white border to give the linework its own breathing room.

It works well as a pair. Hang two portrait drawings at the same size with about 5-8cm between them, tops aligned, and treat them as one block on the wall. Keep both in the same finish so the ink reads consistently, and leave clear wall on either side rather than pushing them into a corner.
