    About This Art

Before anyone mentions vintage travel poster, notice what the soft green and sand does to oak. The room reads steadier — quieter at the edges, warmer in the middle. It pulls a study or hallway into the kind of mood you want after a long day: composed, a little nostalgic, not trying too hard. Hang it above a desk, a console, or in a narrow hallway where a tall portrait piece earns its keep. Pair with tan or oxblood leather, tweed upholstery, brushed brass, and stoneware in muted earth tones. Avoid hanging it next to anything loud or high-contrast — a bright modern abstract or a saturated photograph will fight the calm sky and washed greens. Finished as a fine art print on thick premium paper.

Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the poster have any golf clubs, balls or course markings on it?

No. It reads as a landscape — coastal links, a winding burn, a stone bridge and a castle on the headland — with St Andrews and Scotland set as the title text. The golf connection is implied by the place, not spelled out, which is why it works in rooms where a literal golf scene would feel too themed.

Will the dark sky make the piece feel heavy in a small room?

The dark band sits at the top behind the title, with most of the composition in soft green, sand and pale sky. In a small study or hallway it reads as anchoring rather than heavy — especially with one warm lamp nearby. If your room is very low-lit, sit the print at eye-level rather than high above furniture.

Is this better as a tall feature on its own or in a pair?

Both work. Solo, it suits a study wall or the end of a hallway as a single tall anchor. In a pair or trio, group it with other vintage-style travel posters in similar muted tones — another Scottish town, a coastal scene — keeping frames and proportions matched so the set reads as a series.
