Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It reads as moody rather than heavy, so a north-facing or lamp-lit room actually flatters it. The warm brown clouds and soft cream horizon keep it from feeling flat. In brighter rooms it holds its own; in dimmer ones it becomes properly atmospheric under a picture light or nearby lamp.

It leans cocooning rather than agitated. The brushwork is loose and the palette is warm brown, soft grey and deep sea green — closer to a quiet rainy afternoon than a crisis. It sits well above a bed with linen bedding, and pairs comfortably with reading lamps and warm timber.

Not usually. The sky carries enough grey and cool blue-green to bridge cool wall colours, while the warm brown adds contrast without fighting. It's most at home against off-white, soft stone, muted sage or deeper heritage shades like inky blue or clay.
