Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Not usually. The red here sits against warm cream and dark green, so it reads as a confident colour pop rather than a clash. Soft pink walls or pink-toned tiles actually flatter it, picking up the gingham. Cool blue-pinks or millennial dusty pinks can feel less comfortable next to the warmer red — try it against warm pinks, terracotta or cream instead.

It works in both. The picnic subject matter is a natural fit for kitchens, breakfast nooks and dining rooms, especially above a sideboard or console. In a dining room, hang it where guests can see it from a seated position and let it set a relaxed, slightly playful tone for the table.

The composition is moderate — busy in the middle, calm at the edges. On a small wall, a medium size keeps the cat, watermelon and bottle readable without crowding. If your wall is under about 80cm wide, lean smaller and keep the area around it uncluttered so the colours can breathe.
