Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Honestly, yes — the print's warmth doesn't sit comfortably against cool grey or chrome. It looks best on warm off-white or chalky cream walls, with linen, oak or rattan nearby. If your sofa is grey, hang it in a different room where the surrounding tones are warmer.

The sea sits roughly in the middle third of the composition, so if you hang slightly lower than the usual eye-level rule, the sea line lands near seated eye level above a sofa back. That's the placement that gives the piece its best moment.

It does. The colours are cheerful without being childish, and the village scene is calm rather than busy. It's a good choice for a bright kid's room or a guest room that doubles as a child's space, especially paired with pale wood furniture.
